THERAPY (Gathering and Update Knowledge of Advanced Clinical Pharmacy in Yogyakarta) is a premier scientific forum meticulously designed to bridge the gap between pharmacy practitioners, clinical specialists, academics, and healthcare professionals within a collaborative and inspiring environment. This esteemed initiative is organized by the Indonesian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (HISFARSI) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta.Conceptually established in 2022 and officially inaugurated in 2023, THERAPY is hosted in the historic city of Yogyakarta—widely recognized as Indonesia’s epicenter of education and culture. The Asia Pacific Oncology Pharmacy Community (APOPC) is a premier professional network uniting oncology pharmacy experts across the Asia-Pacific region. Committed to clinical excellence, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety in cytotoxic drug handling and enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients through robust regional collaboration.Our journey began in 2004 with the establishment of Asia for Safe Handling, a pivotal initiative launched in response to the urgent need for standardized safety protocols in oncology pharmacy across Asia. As the field advanced rapidly, the community evolved into APOPC, solidifying its global presence through the inauguration of its first International Congress in 2006—a landmark event that fostered unity among oncology pharmacists in the region. Most recently, our mission continued at the 2024 Congress held on October 12–13 at the Tokyo International Exchange Center (Plaza Heisei), Tokyo, Japan.
